CV-190 PLUS: Cutting-edge technology for precision medical imaging
The Olympus CV-190 PLUS is at the heart of the EVIS EXERA III platform, offering cutting-edge video processing power for endoscopic applications. It incorporates NBI (Narrow Band Imaging) technology, which significantly improves the visualisation of vascular and mucosal structures. Compared to the EVIS EXERA II 180 series, the CV-190 PLUS doubles the viewing distance and enhances contrast, enabling more accurate detection of abnormalities.
Thanks to its compatibility with HQ endoscopes, the CV-190 PLUS activates dual focus, optimising image sharpness at both close and distant viewing distances. Enhanced image processing provides sophisticated colour reproduction, reduces visual noise and limits halo effects, ensuring optimal image quality in all conditions.
Connectivity and ergonomics for the practitioner
The CV-190 PLUS features a one-touch waterproof connector that allows for quick and secure connection to the light source without a separate video cable. It supports analogue and digital output formats, including RGB, YPbPr, HD-SDI, SD-SDI, DV and DVI, with resolutions up to 1080p. It is compatible with 16:9 and 16:10 monitors, ensuring seamless integration into modern clinical environments.
The pre-freeze function automatically selects the sharpest image from those captured before activation, optimising workflow. The system also supports documentation devices such as video printers, image file systems and portable storage devices, facilitating patient data management.
Extensive versatility and compatibility
The CV-190 PLUS is compatible with a wide range of Olympus endoscopes, including the EVIS 100 to 150, EVIS EXERA 160 to 190, EVIS EVERA II 180/165, and OPTERA 170 series. It offers adjustable image enhancement functions, such as structural and edge enhancement, with multiple levels of intensity. The user can adjust colour tones (red, blue, chroma), white balance, contrast and iris mode (peak or average) according to clinical needs.
The system also allows patient data (ID, name, gender, age, date of birth) to be recorded and displayed, as well as user settings to be customised. Up to 50 patient profiles and 20 user configurations can be stored, ensuring maximum flexibility.
