As an indispensable tool in eye examinations, it boasts a diverse array of tests, covering all aspects, including the incorporation of the ETDRS scale. The optotypes' varied sizes cater to acuities ranging from 1/25 (i.e., 0.04) to 20/10 (i.e., 2.0).
