Description

Enhance Eye Examinations with SC-1600 Optotype Display: Flexible, Precise, and Integrated in NIDEK Refraction Chain

The SC-1600 optotype display screen offers remarkable flexibility, presenting an extensive range of visual tests and optotypes adaptable to various workspaces. Its adjustable display distance, ranging from 2.5 to 6 meters, can be further enhanced by incorporating a mirror, effectively doubling the working distance and providing greater flexibility during installation.

Specifically designed for versatility, the SC-1600 model excels in conducting visual dissociation tests, employing either red/green filters or dissociator prisms. As an indispensable tool in eye examinations, it boasts a diverse array of tests, covering all aspects, including the incorporation of the ETDRS scale. The optotypes' varied sizes cater to acuities ranging from 1/25 (i.e., 0.04) to 20/10 (i.e., 2.0).

The SC-1600 screen ensures optimal visual conditions with meticulously controlled brightness, resulting in a uniformly white background and deep blacks. The sharpness of NIDEK screens consistently delivers clear and stable images. In particular situations, such as post-cataract or refractive surgeries, conducting a precise examination of contrast sensitivity becomes crucial.

Integrated seamlessly into the refraction chain, the SC-1600 screen synchronizes effortlessly with other NIDEK elements. When combined with the RT-3100 or RT-6100 automatic refractors, test monitoring is conveniently executed from the touchscreen control panel. Further enhancing user comfort, a dedicated remote control allows simultaneous selection of optotypes, streamlining the examination process.
