Varian VK 7025 Dissolution Apparatus: Precision and Accessibility for Your Pharmaceutical Testing
The Varian VK 7025 is a dissolution apparatus designed for pharmaceutical laboratory use, supporting USP Apparatus I, II, V, VI, as well as intrinsic dissolution testing. Engineered for precision, compliance, and ease of use, it enables rigorous dissolution testing with a suite of advanced technical features.
One of the key strengths of the VK 7025 lies in its full parameter programming via a large, front-facing integrated keypad. For optimal compliance with 21 CFR Part 11, it can also be controlled via a PC using Varian Dissolution Workstation Software. Automation is available through the UV Dissolution software, allowing seamless integration into existing analytical systems.
The integrated AutoTemp system continuously monitors the temperature of each vessel, ensuring the reliability of your results. The dosage delivery module (DDM) enables automated media injection, either simultaneously or sequentially, with a delayed-start function for greater flexibility.
The VK 7025 also features independently motorized sampling cannulas, enabling sequential sampling without disrupting vessel hydrodynamics. These cannulas automatically adjust to media volume. The optional AutoSpindle Control (ASC) provides individual electronic clutch systems, allowing for the introduction of dosage forms into unstirred media, in full compliance with USP guidelines.
The system is ergonomically designed: the motorized unit is movable at the touch of a button, vessels are easily accessible, and the molded PETG water bath with drain hose simplifies cleaning. The removable vessel support platform further reduces maintenance time.
Its V-shaped profile provides optimal vessel visibility while minimizing bench space usage. Key components such as TruCenter™ vessels, integrated evaporation covers, and a built-in printer contribute to the device’s overall performance and operational efficiency.
The VK 7025 is available in 6- or 8-station configurations, with both basket and paddle assemblies, depending on your testing requirements. Adaptation kits for various volumes are also available, facilitating easy adjustment to protocol specifications.
