Description

METTLER TOLEDO DL50 titrator: performance and precision for the laboratory

The DL50 from Mettler Toledo is a fully microprocessor-controlled titrator, specifically developed to meet the demands of modern laboratories for accurate and reproducible analyses. This model is particularly suitable for users who need an instrument capable of performing end-point and equivalence point titrations, as well as analyses with pH control. Thanks to its robust architecture and built-in intelligence, the DL50 guarantees reliable results while simplifying the analysis process.

The DL50 can measure the potential and temperature of solutions, determine TAN/TBN values, and measure acid and base capacity. Voltammetric and amperometric titrations can also be performed using a specific Karl Fischer card, and conductivity can be measured for conductometric titrations using a dedicated analogue output. The DL50 is widely compatible with electrodes, temperature sensors, a stirrer and various external devices such as a printer or balance.

To facilitate task automation, the DL50 offers the option of connecting a sample changer via an RS card, enabling sequential analysis of samples in series. Data can be stored on a memory card, which is mainly used here for updating the device software. The user can also connect an external keyboard and a barcode reader to simplify data entry.

The DL50 is intuitive to use thanks to its clear menus and numerous functions accessible via dedicated keys. The multilingual interface, including French, English, Spanish, German and Italian, makes it even easier to integrate into different working environments. Once installed, it is recommended that the DL50 be left powered on for the first 48 hours to ensure that its internal battery is fully charged, thus guaranteeing the continuity of the clock even when the power is off.

In terms of safety, the DL50 is designed for use in standard laboratory environments. However, it is essential to observe certain precautions, such as using an earthed socket and avoiding explosive or high-humidity environments.

Versatile, reliable and ergonomic, the DL50 is the ideal tool for laboratories requiring a titrator capable of performing a wide variety of chemical analyses with a high level of accuracy and reproducibility.
