Fujifilm DRYpix Plus: a high-performance dry laser printing system for medical imaging
Fujifilm's DRYpix Plus is a dry laser printing system specifically designed to convert digital data from medical imaging devices such as CT scanners, MRI machines and FCR readers into high-quality films for clinical analysis. The device operates without any chemical solutions, eliminating the need for wastewater, specialised ventilation or chemical storage. Its processing speed is impressive, reaching up to 160 films per hour for the smallest formats, while maintaining optimal image quality. The maximum film density can reach 3.3 for standard films and even 4.0 for mammography films, making it suitable for both general radiology and more specific examinations requiring high diagnostic accuracy.
Its colour touchscreen LCD control panel makes it easy to use on a daily basis. It allows the user to interact intuitively with the device, monitor the system status and easily access essential settings. In addition, an external indicator light provides immediate visibility of the operating status, even from a distance.
Full compatibility with the DICOM protocol allows the DRYpix Plus to be seamlessly integrated into modern hospital networks. It can be connected to up to 64 clients and manage up to 10 sessions simultaneously. The printer also offers a range of format, interpolation, gradation and image frame options, allowing optimal adjustment to specific clinical requirements.
With a resolution of up to 50 µm, the DRYpix Plus guarantees faithful reproduction of medical images, suitable for the most demanding diagnoses. This high resolution is particularly useful for detailed examinations, such as mammography. The user can also configure multiple film loading trays, allowing simultaneous printing of multiple formats without changing consumables, optimising workflow.
