DS 42 double-stage rotary vane pump
The Agilent DS 42 pump is a vacuum device designed for demanding professionals seeking consistent performance and operational safety. It is a two-stage rotary vane pump driven by a single-phase electric motor and sealed in an oil bath that provides sealing, lubrication and noise reduction. This configuration makes the DS 42 particularly suitable for environments requiring reliable pumping of non-corrosive gases.
It operates using a forced lubrication system with a gear pump, ensuring oil circulation even at low pressure, thus guaranteeing continuous service and internal component protection. The gas ballast valve prevents vapour condensation inside the pump, extending the oil life and preventing the formation of emulsions or internal deposits. This feature is essential when pumping water or organic vapours.
Designed to operate in an ambient temperature range of 12 to 40°C, the DS 42 is protected against overloads by a circuit breaker adapted to the supply voltage. It also has a non-return device that prevents air from flowing back into the vacuum chamber in the event of a shutdown.
