DZ-2BC II vacuum oven: thermal accuracy and safe drying for sensitive materials
The DZ-2BC II vacuum drying oven offered by Faithful is specially designed for drying heat-sensitive substances, easily oxidisable materials or materials prone to decomposition. This model is based on a four-wall heat conduction system, promoting even temperature distribution across the shelves, which improves drying efficiency. The vacuum environment limits undesirable reactions with oxygen while lowering the boiling point of solvents, allowing for gentle and controlled drying.
The internal structure of the oven is made entirely of high-quality stainless steel, ensuring durability and compatibility with laboratory use. The exterior is made of cold-rolled steel with an electrostatic spray coating, enhancing corrosion resistance. Aluminium silicate cotton thermal insulation ensures excellent thermal stability and optimal energy efficiency. The observation window is made of bulletproof tempered glasswith a double layer for added safety and easy observation of the process.
The digital control system is based on a dual-loop PID temperature controller with a precise LED display. It allows drying cycles of up to 9999 minutes to be set using an integrated timer, with functions such as temperature maintenance, automatic shutdown, deviation correction and parameter storage in the event of a power failure. Measurement accuracy is ensured by a PT100 sensor and the thermal resolution is 0.1°C, with a stability of ±1°C. The touch control mode makes it intuitive to use.
The DZ-2BC II model has a temperature rise time of 100 minutes, an operating temperature range from ambient temperature +10°C to 250°C, and can maintain a vacuum pressure of less than 133 Pa. It is equipped with a piston-type vacuum motor with Class 1 accuracy and a 10 mm diameter nozzle. The oven has four shelves spaced 70 mm apart, with a maximum load capacity of 15 kg per shelf. It consumes 1.4 kW of power and operates at a voltage of 220V/50Hz, with a rated current of 6.3 A. The internal chamber dimensions are 415×370×340 mm and the useful volume is 48 litres.
