DZ-4BC II: a vacuum drying oven designed for precision and stability in the laboratory
The Faithful DZ-4BC II is a vacuum drying oven specially designed for applications requiring strict temperature control in a reduced pressure environment. It is ideal for heat-sensitive, easily oxidisable or chemically decomposable materials. This oven uses a four-wall heat conduction system coupled with a heat transfer mechanism via the shelves, ensuring uniform temperature distribution throughout the interior chamber.
The interior chamber is made of high-quality stainless steel, ensuring both durability and ease of cleaning. The outer casing is made of cold-rolled sheet steel with an electrostatic spray finish, giving it excellent resistance to laboratory conditions. Thermal insulation is provided by a layer of high-quality, CE-certified aluminium silicate cotton, which contributes to the thermal stability of the appliance while improving user safety.
The oven is equipped with a needle thermometer with a class 1.6% accuracy, a double-layer bulletproof tempered glass observation window (tempered glass on the inside and a protective resin plate on the outside), ensuring both safety and visibility during the drying process. Temperature control is based on two-section PID technology, enabling fine and reliable regulation. The user interface is simple and intuitive, via a touch panel. Setpoint and measured temperatures are displayed separately on separate rows of digital tubes.
The DZ-4BC II has additional features such as automatic sensor drift correction, parameter memory in case of power failure, temperature overshoot protection, and a timer up to 9999 minutes with standby function. In case of critical overshoot, a visual and audible alarm is automatically triggered to alert the user.
With a total capacity of 214.5 litres, eight shelves in total, and 70 mm spacing between each level, this model is ideal for intensive use. Each shelf can hold up to 15 kg, making it suitable for large-scale industrial or research applications. This model operates on AC220V/13.6A and has a power rating of 3.0 kW, ensuring consistent performance even during prolonged operation.
Additional accessories such as a silicone connection hose, a vacuum pump filter or a vacuum pump are available as options. The DZ-4BC II is a reliable piece of equipment for all laboratories where vacuum drying is an essential step in research or production protocols.
