The Ela Medical SpiderFlash-T ECG Holter is a cardiac monitoring device designed for patient monitoring, whether they present cardiac symptoms or not. With its long-lasting battery capacity, the SpiderFlash-T can provide continuous monitoring for extended periods, offering invaluable insights for healthcare professionals.
One of the features of the SpiderFlash-T is its ability to record up to 2 ECG channels for an extended period ranging from 14 to 40 days. This extended recording duration is made possible by a simple AAA battery. Thus, the device ensures high-quality monitoring, catering to the patient's needs.
This ECG Holter ensures accurate documentation of cardiac events with its dynamic memory. It accurately identifies rhythm episodes of any duration and records them as ECG samples. Additionally, the SpiderFlash-T records the onset of each episode using its loop memory. The ECG samples are recorded in three different ways:
- Automatically triggered by independent algorithms, one for pathology recognition and the other dedicated to atrial fibrillation.
- Activated by the patient when experiencing symptoms.
- Automatically at predefined times on a programmed schedule, using the Hookup software, which allows configuring the SpiderFlash-T to collect the desired number, duration, and type of ECG episodes.
Moreover, the SpiderFlash-T offers easy communication of recorded data when needed. By pressing the "Send" button, the SpiderFlash-T can send 10 seconds of ECG to any phone number equipped with a compatible interface.
The Hookup software provides the versatility needed to use the SpiderFlash-T with any patient, while the Eventscope software facilitates reading and analyzing the recorded data. These software tools are essential for identifying and validating recorded events. They offer a user-friendly interface, event editing tools, and report customization.
The SpiderFlash-T also features ECG quality control functionalities, including infrared ECG quality check and a 2-channel ECG signal screen. Additionally, it is capable of detecting atrial fibrillation and 11 other types of arrhythmias, ensuring comprehensive monitoring.
