SpiderView : Advanced Monitoring Solution
The SpiderView represents a groundbreaking advancement in Holter monitoring technology, designed to meet the rigorous demands of contemporary clinical practice with flexibility and efficiency. This sophisticated device is engineered to offer unparalleled adaptability, enabling healthcare professionals to tailor cardiac monitoring to meet specific diagnostic requirements.
One of SpiderView's most notable features is its adaptable recording capabilities. With the ability to monitor ECG from 1 to 7 days, this device surpasses the traditional 24-hour Holter monitor, allowing for extended observation periods to capture cardiac events that may not be apparent within a shorter timeframe. This extended recording capability is crucial for detecting intermittent arrhythmias and other transient cardiac conditions that require long-term monitoring.
The device supports up to 12 channels, providing a comprehensive view of the heart's electrical activity. This multi-channel recording feature ensures a detailed and accurate assessment of cardiac function, which is essential for both routine evaluations and complex diagnostic cases. SpiderView®'s multi-channel flexibility allows for a customized approach to each patient's needs, improving diagnostic accuracy and patient comfort.
In addition to its recording versatility, SpiderView integrates an advanced accelerometer that tracks and records the patient's movement. This data is invaluable for distinguishing between true cardiac events and artifacts caused by movement. The movement data can be visualized using the SyneScope software, which enhances the interpretation of the ECG recordings by providing context for the recorded data.
The SpiderView device is designed with user convenience in mind. It offers three programming options to accommodate different preferences and settings. Users can configure the device via Bluetooth using the HookUp Go™ software on a computer or the MyRhythm Pro™ app on a mobile phone. Alternatively, programming can be done directly on the device using its intuitive keypad and wide LCD colored screen. This flexibility ensures that setting up the device is quick and straightforward, regardless of the user's technical proficiency.
Real-time signal quality monitoring is facilitated by the MyRhythm Connect™ app. This mobile application allows patients to view their ECG data in real time and share it with healthcare providers. It integrates seamlessly with SpiderView® and is part of the RhythmScope™ platform, which includes the SyneScope® Easy Cloud ECG analysis software and MyRhythm View™ for remote signal checks. This ecosystem supports comprehensive data analysis and enhances communication between patients and healthcare professionals.
SpiderView utilizes MMC, SD, or MicroSD cards for data storage, ensuring compatibility with various types of memory cards for recording flexibility. However, it is important to note that SpiderView® is not compatible with ELATEC and SyneView analysis software systems. For recordings exceeding 24 hours or involving more than three channels, data must be read using SyneScope®.
The device offers three types of recording modes: Holter only, High-Resolution ECG only, and a combination of both. The recording quality varies with options for standard, high-quality, and uncompressed formats, allowing users to choose the best balance between file size and data detail. SpiderView® also supports multiple lead configurations, including bipolar and 12-lead options, with a frequency response range that meets diverse clinical needs.
With a compact design weighing only 85g (3oz) and dimensions of 97 x 54 x 23 mm (3.8” x 2.1” x 0.9”), SpiderView® is both lightweight and portable. Its high-resolution ECG capability, pacemaker spike detection, and broad frequency response range make it a versatile tool for detailed cardiac monitoring.
