Description

The LOGIC 9 ultrasound scanner from General Electric Healthcare: an efficient solution for ultrasound and medical imaging

GE's LOGIQ 9 offers a unique advantage by storing raw image data at the start of the imaging chain. This feature gives clinicians maximum flexibility in post-processing and analysis, greatly improving diagnostic confidence.

With access to raw image data, clinicians can compensate for variations in image acquisition, reducing the need to rescan the patient. This not only improves efficiency, but also patient comfort and safety.

GE's unique raw data and application tools enable images to be reconstructed using a variety of techniques. These include setting time gain controls, modifying B-mode gain, color gain and dynamic range, as well as analyzing and manipulating volume data. In addition, clinicians can build 3D volume images from a loop, modify baseline offset, scan speed and Doppler gain.

Essentially, LOGIQ 9's ability to store and provide access to raw image data, combined with its robust set of tools for image reconstruction and manipulation, gives users greater control and confidence in their diagnostic process

One of the most remarkable features of LOGIQ 9 is its automatic optimization. This tool harnesses the system's extensive processing power to automatically apply temporal gain compensation, B-mode, color gain and spectral Doppler optimization. This includes baseline and pulse repetition frequency, reducing manual intervention and improving efficiency.

The LOGIQ 9 is part of a wider productivity workstation solution designed specifically for healthcare providers. As the world's leading supplier of healthcare IT and ultrasound systems, GE has combined its expertise to provide complete ultrasound IT solutions. These solutions aim to enable the use of volume ultrasound techniques, streamline clinical workflow, improve diagnostic confidence and connect to multi-vendor ultrasound systems, PACS, RIS and HIS.

LOGIQworks is a scalable solution based on DICOM standards, making it versatile enough to support any type of clinical environment - from an imaging department to a fully networked healthcare enterprise.

With clinical applications such as rapid organ examination, multiplanar measurement tools and volume analysis, LOGIQ 9 and LOGIQworks enable healthcare professionals to make faster, more accurate diagnoses. This combination of technology and intuitive design makes LOGIQ 9 an invaluable tool for improving patient throughput and overall healthcare delivery.

With VoiceScan, clinicians can use intuitive words and phrases to activate over 150 functions with remarkable accuracy. This voice command gives clinicians the freedom to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, improving their scanning technique and body mechanics.
