At its heart is a modern microprocessor, controlled by a monochrome graphic LCD display that simultaneously shows the actual and target temperatures. Thanks to intuitive navigation in plain language and flexible control keys, the user can easily configure parameters, including overheating protection via the dedicated Tmax key.
The electronic PID control system ensures exceptional thermal stability, which is essential for sensitive processes. The LAUDA ECO E 40 S is classified as safety class III, making it compatible with flammable and non-flammable liquids. It also features a standard cooling coil and a programmer with 1 programme with 20 segments, enabling complex thermal cycles.
The Vario pump with six adjustable levels allows precise control of the flow rate between internal and external circulation, even during operation. This system is ideal for applications requiring maximum flexibility, such as botanical extractions, fermentations, or material testing.
In terms of connectivity, the model is equipped with a standard USB port and can be enhanced with interface modules (RS232/485, Profibus, Ethernet-USB, etc.) or a Pt100/LiBus module for external control via the Command console.
The stainless steel bath is equipped with a drain valve for safe and easy replacement of the heat transfer fluid. The unit is housed in a robust frame with optimised dimensions for easy integration on a workbench or in an industrial environment.
