LAUDA ECO ET 12 S heating thermostat: A technological marvel for laboratory temperature control
The LAUDA ECO ET 12 S is much more than just a heating thermostat: it is a precision tool designed to meet the demands of modern laboratories. Featuring a 12-litre transparent polycarbonate bath, it allows direct viewing of the liquid while ensuring excellent thermal insulation. Its operating temperature range extends from 20 °C to 100 °C, with remarkable stability of ±0.01 K, making it ideal for experiments requiring fine control.
Its monochrome graphic LCD display allows simultaneous reading of the actual and setpoint temperatures. Menu navigation is intuitive thanks to a cursor and a flexible keypad, with a dedicated key for overheating protection (Tmax). The electronic PID controller ensures continuous and precise control, suitable for flammable and non-flammable liquids, in accordance with safety class III FL.
The integrated LAUDA Vario pump offers six adjustable power levels, allowing the flow rate between internal and external circulation to be adjusted without direct contact with the liquid. This setting can be accessed even during operation, optimising flexibility of use.
The thermostat is equipped with a USB interface as standard and can be expanded with various interface modules: analogue, contact, RS 232/485, Profibus or Ethernet-USB. It is also compatible with the Pt 100/LiBus module for external control and operation via the Command box.
An integrated programmer allows you to create a programme with up to 20 segments, ideal for complex protocols. The cooling coil is supplied as standard, facilitating temperature control during cooling phases.
Compact and lightweight (7 kg), the LAUDA ECO ET 12 S fits easily into any laboratory environment. It is powered by 230 V, 50/60 Hz, with an angled mains plug (type BS1363 or Schuko depending on the model).
This thermostat is the preferred choice for professionals seeking reliability, precision and scalability in their thermal processes.
