LAUDA ECO ET 20 S heating thermostat – Precision and versatility for temperature control
The LAUDA ECO ET 20 S heating thermostat embodies excellence in temperature control in scientific and industrial environments. Designed to meet the most stringent standards (DIN 12876), this device combines reliability, safety and ergonomics in a compact and scalable format.
Its transparent polycarbonate bath allows direct viewing of the liquid, facilitating control and maintenance operations. Thanks to its fully electronic PID controller, it guarantees exceptional thermal stability of ±0.01 K, essential for sensitive processes such as botanical extraction, fermentation or chemical analysis.
The user interface is designed for intuitive navigation: a monochrome graphic LCD display shows the actual and setpoint temperatures simultaneously. Data entry is easy via a cursor and a soft keypad, with a dedicated overheating key (Tmax) for enhanced safety.
The integrated LAUDA Vario pump offers six adjustable power levels, allowing precise adjustment of the flow rate between internal and external circulation, without direct contact with the liquid. This system is particularly useful for applications requiring dynamic heat flow control.
The thermostat is also upgradeable thanks to its interface modules: USB, RS 232/485, Profibus, Ethernet-USB, as well as a Pt 100/LiBus module for external control. It can be controlled via a Command box, offering maximum flexibility in connected environments.
An integrated programmer allows you to create a programme with up to 20 segments, ideal for complex thermal cycles. The cooling coil expands the range of applications, particularly for applications requiring rapid cooling.
With a heating capacity of 1.3 kW and a maximum power consumption of 1.4 kW, the LAUDA ECO ET 20 S combines energy performance and thermal efficiency. Its compact size (322 × 506 × 389 mm) and low weight (9 kg) make it easy to integrate into any workspace.
