LAUDA ECO RE 1050 G cooling thermostat: performance, precision and flexibility
The ECO RE 1050 G from LAUDA is a high-end cooling thermostat designed for demanding temperature control applications. Designed with the latest advances in microprocessor and thermal control technology, it incorporates an efficient cooling solution and a robust architecture that make it the preferred choice for laboratories, research institutes and industry.
With its wide temperature range from -50 °C to +200 °C, the ECO RE 1050 G can be used in a variety of thermal environments. It is equipped with an electronic PID controller for continuous and precise regulation. Thermal stability is outstanding, with an accuracy of ±0.02 K.
Its colour TFT display allows simultaneous viewing of actual and setpoint values, as well as a graphical illustration of the temperature profile. Menu navigation is user-friendly and in clear language. Cursor keys and control keys facilitate parameter entry, and a dedicated key quickly activates overheating protection.
The six-stage adjustable vario pump ensures complete control of the flow rate between internal and external circulation, even during operation, without contact with the bath. The pump connections are metal with a standard M 16 x 1 thread, and the bath is made of stainless steel with a drain valve for easy maintenance.
In terms of safety, the device is classified in category III according to DIN 12876, authorising its use with flammable and non-flammable liquids. The overheating cut-out can be set directly via the menu.
A USB interface is included as standard, while several optional modules allow the control capabilities to be expanded: RS 232/485, Ethernet-USB module, Pt 100/LiBus module, or external control via the Command console. The integrated programmer can manage up to 150 temperature and time segments, divided into five programmes, for complex heating profiles.
The SmartCool system optimises energy consumption while ensuring the right cooling power for the temperature. The unit complies with European regulations on fluorinated gases (EU 517/2014) and uses R-452A refrigerant.
