LAUDA ECO RE 1225 S – High-precision cooling thermostat
The LAUDA ECO RE 1225 S embodies excellence in thermostating thanks to its robust design and state-of-the-art features, making it indispensable for demanding applications in laboratories, education and industry. Equipped with the latest microprocessor technology , this device incorporates an autonomous cooling system and enables reliable temperature control over a wide range from -25 °C to 200 °C.
Simultaneous reading of the actual and setpoint values is provided by a monochrome LCD graphic display, which is accompanied by user-friendly and intuitive navigation via ergonomic control keys. The device also offers overheating protection via a dedicated button (Tmax) and a class III safety device, making it suitable for use with flammable and non-flammable liquids. The temperature overload cut-out system is fully menu-adjustable.
One of the major advantages of this thermostat is its integrated Vario pump with six adjustable performance levels, allowing precise control of the flow rate between internal and external circulation without having to come into contact with the tank. The LAUDA ECO RE 1225 S is also equipped with a USB interface as standard and can be expanded with several add-on modules such as analogue interface, contact, RS 232/485, Profibus and Ethernet-USB.
For users requiring external or remote control, a Pt 100/LiBus module is available, compatible with the LAUDA Command control console. The thermostat also includes an integrated programmer capable of managing up to 20 segments, which is ideal for processes requiring specific temperature sequences. The stainless steel tank ensures a long service life, and the drainage system facilitates maintenance.
Its air-cooled system uses natural refrigerants (R-290), ensuring minimal environmental impact while delivering good thermal performance, with cooling capacities adapted to the temperature and fluid used. For example, with ethanol, the cooling capacity is 0.3 kW at 20°C, 0.24 kW at 0°C, and 0.04 kW at -25°C.
Its compact design (total dimensions: 250 x 435 x 624 mm) and weight of 31 kg make it easy to integrate into different workstations. Its tank (200 x 200 x 200 mm) can hold between 9.3 and 12 litres of liquid, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications.
