LAUDA ECO RE 420 S Cooling Thermostat – Thermal Power and Precision
The LAUDA ECO RE 420 S is an essential tool for laboratories and industrial facilities seeking precision and control. It incorporates the latest advances in thermoregulation with a wide temperature range from -20 °C to 200 °C, suitable for sensitive handling and complex cycles.
At the heart of its operation is a state-of-the-art microprocessor combined with an electronic PID controller, ensuring exceptional thermal stability of ±0.02 K. This precision is supported by a monochrome LCD display showing actual and programmed values simultaneously, with easy navigation via clear menus and soft keys. A specific key is dedicated to overheating protection, which can be adjusted directly via the interface.
One of its strengths is its six-stage variable pump, which allows the flow rate to be adjusted to specific requirements — whether for internal or external circulation — without direct contact with the bath liquid. The connectors are equipped with standard 13 mm plastic fittings.
The tank, made of stainless steel, offers a bath capacity of between 3.3 and 4.0 litres. The device measures 180 x 396 x 555 mm and weighs 22 kg, ensuring easy integration into the workspace while maintaining a robust construction. Classified as safety level III, it can operate with flammable and non-flammable liquids.
Cooling is provided by air condensation, using R-134a refrigerant in accordance with current European regulations (EU 573/2024). It also features a programmer that allows up to 20 segments to be created, ideal for automating complex thermal processes.
For connectivity requirements, the ECO RE 420 S is equipped as standard with a USB port and can be enhanced with optional modules (RS232/485, Ethernet-USB, Profibus, etc.) as well as the Pt100/LiBus module for external control. These options facilitate seamless integration with computerised supervision or remote control systems.
