Nidek LE-700: Versatile Edging and Precision for Optimal Optical Services
The Nidek LE-700 revolutionizes lens edging with its compact design and exceptional performance. This all-in-one device combines tracing, manual blocking, and grinding functions in an ergonomic and intuitive solution. Thanks to its advanced technologies, the LE-700 simplifies the eyewear creation process while delivering impeccable quality, even for the most complex frames.
The LE-700 features an integrated intelligent manual blocker that ensures precise lens alignment at every stage. Its high-resolution color touchscreen, paired with an image magnification function, simplifies lens positioning and adjustments. Opticians can achieve accurate edging while minimizing post-production adjustments.
With its patternless 3D tracing technology, the LE-700 captures precise tracing data from demo lenses or templates. The new RMU (Radius Measuring Unit) and LMU (Lens Measuring Unit) further enhance precision by measuring the front curvature of lenses for flawless 3D machining. Its internal memory can store up to 20,000 shapes, providing quick access to frequently used models.
To meet diverse customer needs, the integrated shape editor offers unique flexibility. Lens dimensions, such as width, height, or overall size, can be precisely adjusted via an intuitive numeric keypad. This feature allows for adaptation to a wide variety of frames, including curved designs.
The LE-700 is designed to maximize workspace efficiency with its compact size (543 x 490 x 345 mm). Its vertical design protects components from debris and minimizes maintenance requirements. Integrated accessories, like double-tier storage trays, save time and improve convenience.
The patternless grinding system supports multiple functions, including:
- Automatic or guided beveling.
- Flat edging, polishing, and grooving.
- 3D simulation for precise machining performance control.
- Additionally, the system can process small lenses (down to 22 mm diameter with mini cups) and handle various materials.
