A High-Performance Electrocardiograph for Seamless Workflow
The Philips PageWriter TC50 is an electrocardiograph designed to combine efficiency and precision. Tailored for hospital and clinical environments, it enables the performance of high-quality ECGs with great ease of use. With its 10.4-inch color touchscreen, users can view traces in real-time and adjust settings before printing.
The ergonomic Patient Interface Module simplifies electrode placement by following an intuitive anatomical layout. This design reduces placement errors and enhances the quality of ECG traces. The Trident system unifies three lead wires, thereby minimizing the risk of tangling and accelerating device setup.
The PageWriter TC50 stands out with its ability to capture and store up to 20 minutes of ECG data, providing precise monitoring of cardiac events. It supports the recording and interpretation of up to 18 leads simultaneously, including specific analyses for myocardial infarctions (STEMI) and arrhythmias. The Philips DXL ECG Algorithm offers interpretation with criteria differentiated by the patient's age and sex, ensuring a more accurate reading of cardiac signals.
Seamless integration of the PageWriter TC50 into the hospital ecosystem is facilitated by its wireless connectivity (WiFi 802.11) and compatibility with standard formats such as DICOM and XML. It supports patient information import via barcode reading, manual entry, or download from a server. This interoperability ensures instant access to ECG data, even remotely, through the IntelliSpace ECG Management System.
On the printing side, the device features a high-resolution thermal printer that generates reports in various formats, including standard 3x4, 6x2, and 12x1 traces. Users can preview traces on the screen before printing, thus avoiding errors and reducing paper waste.
The PageWriter TC50 is also equipped with a high-performance battery management system, ensuring up to 16 hours of autonomy with an additional battery. It is designed for intensive use while providing optimal mobility with its robust and compact trolley.
In terms of security, the device features data protection protocols with SHA-256 and AES-128 encryption, as well as access management options via LDAP and AD. It also complies with international medical safety standards IEC 60601-1 and IEC 60601-2-25.
