The D-Vapor is equipped with several innovative features. The Auto Exclusion mounting system prevents the simultaneous use of two vaporizers, thus enhancing patient safety. The "T" position of the adjustment knob allows safe transport of the device, even when inverted or tilted, without leakage of anesthetic agent. The vaporizer has the capacity to contain the entire content of a standard anesthetic agent bottle. Additionally, the D-Vapor model features an audible filling level alarm that alerts the user when the vaporizer is filled.
The D-Vapor is also designed to prevent accidental filling with the wrong agent. It offers different filling systems to meet individual needs. The color-coded bayonet cap facilitates opening and allows for quick visual identification of the locking status. Furthermore, a special anti-spill adapter for the anesthetic agent bottle is included.
In case of power failure, the D-Vapor continues to operate thanks to its integrated battery. It is compatible with anesthesia devices from other manufacturers equipped with a Selectatec and a 23 mm ISO conical connector, respectively.
The D-Vapor is designed to provide convenient use for clinicians. It is equipped with a blue marker at the back of the glass for better readability of the agent filling level. Additionally, it is designed to operate within a temperature range of 18 to 30 °C, ensuring precise dosing even during surgical interventions requiring heating or cooling, such as pediatric, cardiac, orthopedic surgeries, or burn treatment.
In terms of durability, the D-Vapor is designed to provide years of incident-free use. No maintenance or recalibration is required throughout the device's lifespan.
