The Skot is a hospital stretcher designed to meet the demands of emergency services, operating theaters, and intensive care units. Combining robustness, ergonomics, and ease of maintenance, it ensures secure and smooth patient transfer. Its steel frame with epoxy coating guarantees enhanced durability against the rigors of the medical environment.
Equipped with 200 mm wheels featuring centralized braking and a fifth directional wheel, it provides excellent stability and maneuverability, facilitating movement through corridors and confined spaces. The height adjustment system, operated via bilateral pedals, allows for quick adaptation to the needs of healthcare staff while minimizing physical effort. The backrest, adjustable from 0 to 90° with gas cylinders, offers optimal support for patients, particularly in cases of respiratory distress or care requiring specific inclination.
Patient comfort is a priority, with an 80 mm thick mattress available in PU for a soft welcome or vinyl for easier transfer. The three-position side rails provide effective protection while remaining accessible to healthcare personnel.
Hygiene is also central to the Skot's design. Its fully washable system allows for quick and effective cleaning, with a tool-free removable sleeping surface and a velcro-free mattress to prevent bacterial buildup. Integrated bumpers protect hospital structures from impacts during movement, reducing premature wear on equipment.
The Skot d'Acime is compatible with several optional accessories, including a meal tray, paper roll holder, and oxygen bottle support, enhancing its versatility. With a high load capacity of 280 kg, it accommodates all types of patients and ensures optimal care in demanding environments.
