Endocavitary probe C41L47RP - Good

The Hitachi C41L47RP is an endocavitary ultrasound probe specifically designed for transrectal imaging and ultrasound-guided biopsy. Compatible with Hitachi ultrasound systems, it delivers optimal image resolution thanks to high-density technology. With a 6.5 MHz frequency in convex mode and 7.5 MHz in linear mode, it enables precise visualization of anatomical structures. Featuring a 200° scanning angle and a 64 mm field of view, this probe ensures accurate examinations and improved guidance for interventional procedures. The EZU-PA3U puncture guide is available as an option for assisted biopsies.

Description

Hitachi C41L47RP Probe – Advanced Transrectal Imaging for Optimal Diagnostic Accuracy

The Hitachi C41L47RP is an endocavitary ultrasound probe designed for transrectal examinations and image-guided interventions. With its advanced technology, it ensures excellent image quality for precise and reliable diagnoses.

This probe utilizes High-Density Technology with a dual scanning mode:

  • Convex at 6.5 MHz, providing a 200° wide scanning angle, ideal for a broad view of internal anatomical structures.
  • Linear at 7.5 MHz, allowing for higher resolution in specific areas with a 64 mm field of view.

The C41L47RP transducer converts electrical signals into ultrasonic waves, which reflect off various internal structures and are reconverted into electrical signals to create real-time images. This technology ensures detailed visualization of tissues and organs, essential for screening and monitoring urological, prostate, and abdominal conditions.

The C41L47RP probe is primarily used for transrectal imaging with detailed exploration of the prostate, rectum, and surrounding tissues. And prostate biopsies, when used with the EZU-PA3U puncture guide (optional), it enables precise needle guidance for targeted sampling (14G and 18G needles).

Its design allows for efficient maintenance:

  • Immersible part (IPX7): can be cleaned by immersion in a disinfectant solution.
  • Non-immersible part: should be cleaned by wiping.
  • Compatible with ETO gas sterilization and STERRAD plasma sterilization.

Its lightweight design (1.3 kg, including cable and connector) and ergonomic shape ensure comfortable handling and optimal positioning. The flexible cable reduces operator fatigue during long examinations.

Classified as IIa under Directive 93/42/EEC, this probe is designed for safe use with Hitachi ultrasound systems. Its robust connectivity and biocompatible materials ensure long-lasting performance and optimal protection against allergies.

With its high-resolution imaging, biopsy compatibility, and easy maintenance, the Hitachi C41L47RP is an essential choice for healthcare professionals seeking precision and reliability in ultrasound diagnostics.
