The EuroClone SafeGrow 188 from Bioair is a state-of-the-art technological solution in the field of CO₂ incubators, designed to meet the most stringent requirements for cell and tissue culture. Its design is based on a direct heating architecture, ensuring exceptional thermal homogeneity within the culture chamber without the need for forced air circulation. This technology not only improves environmental stability but also reduces the risk of cross-contamination, a major advantage in biomedical research or in vitro fertilisation laboratories.

With a total internal volume of 188.6 litres and a usable space of 140 litres, the SafeGrow 188 optimises the available space thanks to its four-shelf system, each offering 0.23 m² of work surface. This volume/surface ratio is among the best in its class, allowing intensive use without compromising the consistency of internal conditions. The chamber structure, made of AISI 304 electropolished stainless steel, without welds and with rounded corners, facilitates thorough cleaning and limits areas where bacteria can accumulate.

In terms of performance, the unit is equipped with four independent heating elements, located on the six walls of the chamber, ensuring precise temperature control to within ±0.1°C. Measurement is provided by seven high-precision thermistors, capable of detecting variations as small as 0.01°C. Relative humidity is maintained at a stable level of 95% thanks to a 2.5 L heated stainless steel water tray, ensuring ideal conditions for cell growth.

The SafeGrow 188 uses a solid-state infrared sensor for CO₂ control, which is insensitive to humidity and features an Autozero function for increased accuracy. The CO₂ concentration is regulated between 0.5% and 20% with an accuracy of ±0.1%, allowing fine adjustment to the specific needs of the cultures.

Hygiene and safety are also at the heart of the design. The incubator features a validated automatic decontamination cycle at 125°C for 4 hours, which effectively eliminates any residual microbial load. This comprehensive process, spread over a period of 10.5 to 13.5 hours, can be initiated on demand to ensure complete sterility.

The EuroClone SafeGrow 188 features a user-friendly interface with data display, a log of the last 500 events and export options via RS232 or an optional USB adapter. Its modular design allows two units to be stacked for better optimisation of laboratory space.
