The LBX EVA180-B rotary evaporator is a high-performance piece of laboratory equipment designed to meet the everyday needs of distillation, extraction and solvent recovery in research, teaching and industrial environments. The EVA 180-B allows rapid evaporation of solvents thanks to its smooth rotation system, compatibility with water or oil heating baths, and vertical borosilicate glass condenser. It is designed to operate at temperatures ranging from ambient to 180°C, with a temperature control accuracy of ±1.5°C in water mode and ±3°C in oil mode. Thanks to its quiet brushless motor, the device operates continuously without maintenance, with an adjustable speed range of 20 to 200 revolutions per minute.
One of the major advantages of the LBX EVA 180-B is its ability to automatically switch between forward and reverse rotation within an adjustable range of 1 to 999 seconds. This feature is particularly useful for homogenising mixtures or limiting build-up on the walls. The manual lifting system offers a vertical stroke of 110 mm, allowing the position of the flask in the heating bath to be adjusted precisely.
The device is equipped with an intuitive control panel with LED display, allowing real-time viewing of temperature, rotation speed and activated modes. It also includes visual indicators for water/oil modes and heating status. All functions can be adjusted using ergonomic rotary knobs.
Compliant with EN 61010-1 safety standards and European EMC directives, the LBX EVA 180-B evaporator is equipped with several safety devices: overheating protection, automatic shutdown in the event of motor or sensor malfunction, coded error indicators, and IP20 insulation. A suitable vacuum pump can also be added to improve evaporation efficiency at low pressure.
