EXPLORER 7000: a professional solution for mineral analysis in the field
The EXPLORER 7000 from Skyray is a portable XRF analyser designed specifically to meet the needs of professionals in the mining, geology, metallurgy and environmental monitoring sectors. Thanks to its energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence detection system, this device can accurately measure chemical elements ranging from magnesium (Mg) to uranium (U) without any prior sample preparation.
The device stands out for its fast analysis, delivering usable results in one to two seconds. This efficiency is made possible by a powerful combination of technologies: a miniature silver-target X-ray tube, a high-resolution 128 eV SDD detector, a multi-channel digital processor and an intelligent on-board analysis system. Up to 40 elements can be analysed simultaneously, with a detection range from ppm to 99.99%.
The EXPLORER 7000 is designed to operate in extreme conditions, with dust and moisture resistance. It can be used between -20°C and +50°C and withstands harsh environments thanks to its reinforced chassis and integrated safety features. These include a lead-shielded internal steel structure, manual safety interlock, and an automatic collimation system to adapt the analysis to different sample sizes.
The user interface has been designed to suit both novice technicians and experts. Two operating modes are available: an operator mode for quick analyses and an expert mode for advanced customisation. The 5-inch rotating touchscreen remains readable even in bright daylight, while the integrated HD camera facilitates sample positioning. The three-colour light alert system allows you to monitor the status of the device in real time: green for standby, red for testing, and yellow for anomalies.
Thanks to its 9000 mAh lithium-ion battery, the EXPLORER 7000 provides up to 12 hours of battery life. A 27000 mAh battery is also available as an option, offering up to 3 days of battery life.
GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB connectivity ensure smooth data transfer and complete traceability of analyses.
