FH-120 by TopAir – Safety extraction hood for laboratories
The FH-120 hood from TopAir is designed to offer optimal protection for operators working with volatile and hazardous chemicals. Made from cold-rolled steel with an epoxy coating, the FH-120 offers excellent mechanical and chemical resistance. Its 6 mm HPL laminate inner walls provide long-lasting protection against corrosion and damage caused by aggressive products. The sliding tempered glass front provides good visibility while serving as a protective barrier against harmful splashes and vapours.
The FH-120's suction system maintains a constant air flow of 0.5 ± 0.1 m/s, in accordance with international standards EN-14175 and ASHRAE 110-1995. Air is drawn in through the top and rear openings for uniform capture of pollutants and then directed to an external extraction system. This ensures that toxic vapours and gases are effectively removed, protecting the health of operators and keeping the working environment clean.
The integrated 800 LUX LED lighting, separate from the work area, ensures optimal visual comfort, which is essential during delicate operations. The user-friendly control panel allows easy control of lighting and ventilation, with the option of integrating a VAV (Variable Air Volume) system to automatically adjust the fan speed according to the opening of the front window, thus reducing energy consumption and ambient noise.
The FH-120 can be equipped with various accessories to meet specific needs, such as water and gas taps, integrated electrical sockets, polypropylene sinks and suitable centrifugal fans. Its modular design allows customisation to meet the requirements of each laboratory, while maintaining compliance with current regulations.
