The trigger-activated system, activated by the index finger, facilitates handling while reducing fatigue. The user can adjust the trigger angle by 60°, ensuring customisation for both right- and left-handed users.
The technological heart of the Novus lies in its simple and efficient software platform. Thanks to an intuitive menu displayed on a backlit LCD screen, users can select from several pipetting modes: single, reverse, repetitive, stepper, dilution, mixing, aspiration or dispensing sequencing. The aspiration and dispensing speed can be adjusted independently for complete control over operations.
The integrated rechargeable Li-Ion battery offers extended battery life and fast recharging, enabling continuous use throughout the day. The charge indicator on the display ensures accurate monitoring of the battery status, preventing unexpected interruptions. If necessary, the pipette can be used while charging.
The Finnpipette Novus is made from durable, chemically resistant materials, ensuring a long service life even in demanding environments. The tip cone module is not autoclavable on this 1200 µL model, unlike other versions, but cleaning remains simple. A soft-touch tip ejection system facilitates hygienic disposal of consumables without manual contact.
