The Fireboy Plus can be adapted to different types of gas thanks to its interchangeable nozzles. It can run on natural gas (methane) or commercially available butane/propane cartridges. A wide range of adapters allows it to be easily connected to a central supply or a portable cartridge. It can also be used independently thanks to a rechargeable NiMH battery (optional), guaranteeing up to eight hours of mobile use without a power supply.
In terms of ergonomics, the integrated LCD screen displays the selected settings (flame duration, active mode, alerts) in real time, and the rotary controls allow quick navigation through the menus. The user can also configure the maximum continuous operating time, the sensor sensitivity and the display language.
The Fireboy Plus is easy to maintain. The burner is removable for thorough cleaning, and the internal components are designed to withstand splashes and common disinfectants.
