Fluko's Fisco-2S-A reactor: a laboratory system designed for precision and versatility
Fluko's Fisco-2S-A model is a laboratory reactor specially designed to meet the needs of research environments where reliability, precision and flexibility are essential. With a maximum processing capacity of 2000 mL, it allows a wide range of operations such as dispersion, emulsification, homogenisation and mixing, whether under vacuum or under pressure.
This system is designed to offer faithful reproduction of industrial processes on a laboratory scale. It incorporates several openings on the lid (thermometer, vacuum, and three additional openings) allowing great flexibility in the addition of accessories or sensors. The opening dedicated to the homogeniser with hopper facilitates the introduction of samples while maintaining the integrity of the vacuum system.
The Fisco-2S-A also stands out for its high-performance stirring system: it offers a motor power of up to 50 W, with a speed adjustable up to 900 rpm, ensuring excellent mixing homogeneity even in high-viscosity media (up to 100,000 cP). It is also equipped with a vertical lifting system with a stroke of 300 mm, simplifying handling and cleaning.
In terms of construction, the materials in contact with the product are of high quality: SS316L stainless steel, borosilicate glass, silicon carbide (SIC), with FKM and PTFE seals, ensuring optimal chemical compatibility and a long service life. The system is designed to operate in a temperature range from -20°C to +120°C, with a vacuum pressure of up to -0.082 MPa. This allows tests to be carried out under a variety of thermodynamic conditions.
