Fisco-5S Fluko: a complete laboratory reactor for a variety of processes
The Fisco-5S from Fluko is a laboratory reactor designed to offer great flexibility in the processing of liquid or semi-solid samples. It is suitable for a wide range of processes such as dispersion, emulsification, homogenisation, mixing, chemical reaction, fermentation, cream preparation, polymerisation and synthesis, whether under vacuum or pressurised conditions. With a working capacity of 5 litres, it is the ideal intermediate tool between laboratory scale and pilot production, allowing the parameters of an industrial process to be faithfully reproduced.
The system includes a complete configuration for controlling the various production stages. The macro-mixing module ensures homogeneous mixing, even for highly viscous substances, while the micro-emulsification module guarantees the formation of fine, stable particles. The integration of a vacuum system allows working conditions that reduce oxidation and bubble formation, which is crucial for certain pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food formulations. Precise temperature control ensures perfect control of heat-sensitive reactions, while the multi-sensor system allows real-time monitoring of critical parameters.
Robust construction and high-quality materials
The Fisco-5S vessel is made from carefully selected materials to ensure excellent chemical and mechanical resistance. The surfaces in contact with the product are made of borosilicate glass, SS316L stainless steel and PTFE, SIC and FKM components, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of chemicals and ease of cleaning. The reactor is equipped with a helical ribbon agitator with scraper, ensuring homogeneous mixing even for viscous products up to 100,000 cP. The powerful and adjustable homogenisation motor offers a speed range from 10,000 to 28,000 rpm, ensuring the formation of high-quality emulsions and dispersions.
Performance and precise process control
The Fisco-5S offers an optimal working environment for applications requiring high precision and rigorous parameter monitoring. Its operating temperature range is 5 to 40°C, with a maximum working temperature of 120°C, and it can operate under vacuum conditions down to -0.092 MPa. The agitator speed control (10 to 200 rpm) and the power of its 50 W motor allow precise adjustment to the process requirements. Its compact dimensions (470 × 420 × 1200 mm) and weight of 42 kg make it easy to integrate into various laboratory environments, while delivery in a wooden case ensures safe transport.
Combining robustness, versatility and precision, the Fisco-5S is the equipment of choice for research laboratories, development centres and pilot plants seeking to optimise their processes and obtain reproducible and reliable results.
