FOC 225I – The precision incubator for your thermal stability needs
The FOC 225I refrigerated incubator developed by VELP is much more than just a temperature control device. Designed to meet the strict requirements of modern laboratories, this incubator combines cutting-edge technology, reliability and ease of use. With its generous volume of 225 litres and adjustable temperature range from 3 to 50 °C, it is suitable for both microbiological applications and stability tests requiring precise and constant control of the thermal environment.
What sets the FOC 225I apart is its innovative Auto-Tuning thermoregulation system. Unlike traditional systems that take time to reach the target temperature, Auto-Tuning continuously adjusts the parameters to ensure a perfectly stable temperature, with uniformity and accuracy of ±0.5°C. This not only ensures reproducible results, but also prevents unwanted variations that could affect sample quality.
The user experience is also at the heart of this incubator's design. A transparent inner door allows visual monitoring of samples without opening the unit, thus maintaining thermal stability. The condensation-free internal chamber is equipped with 4 adjustable shelves (up to 6 in total), offering great flexibility for organising instruments and containers. Two internal sockets, controlled by an external switch, allow other devices to be powered during incubation.
One of the great advantages of the FOC 225I is its ability to connect to a PC via the RS232 port for digital management with IncubationSoft™ software. This allows you to program temperature ramps, monitor temperature curves in real time, automatically record data and manage alarms, in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP). This traceability is essential for regulated environments or demanding protocols.
With its compact design (540 x 1300 x 560 mm), low power consumption (350 W) and robust structure, the FOC 225I is a reliable ally for laboratories that demand precision, performance and ease of use. It is an ideal solution for researchers, technicians and laboratory staff who want to optimise their incubation processes without compromising on quality.
