Fortuna Clean Bench 1200: a professional solution for a sterile and safe working environment
The Fortuna Clean Bench 1200 from Vitaris is a high-performance horizontal laminar flow hood designed specifically to meet the strict requirements of laboratory environments requiring clean air and product protection. Thanks to its compliance with ISO 14644, EN 61010-1, EN 61000-6 and EN 11201 standards, it guarantees a class 100 cleanliness level, essential for critical applications such as microbiology, biotechnology, pharmaceutical research and industrial quality control.
The heart of the Fortuna Clean Bench 1200's performance is its HEPA H14 filtration system, compliant with EN 1822-1, capable of retaining at least 99.995% of airborne particles. The constant speed horizontal laminar flow (0.32 m/s) ensures even distribution of filtered air throughout the work area, minimising the risk of cross-contamination and effectively protecting samples.
Its compact design (1304 mm wide) allows for easy installation and movement, even in confined spaces, while offering a large internal working area of 1200 mm wide. The robust structure is made of polyester-coated steel (RAL 9016) and an AISI 304 stainless steel worktop, ensuring durability and resistance to chemicals. An AISI 316 steel worktop is available as an option for even more corrosive environments.
Working comfort is ensured by powerful (2000 Lux) and uniform lighting, an electric sliding front opening of up to 550 mm, and controlled acoustics, with a noise level of less than or equal to 47 dB(A) in normal operation and 42 dB(A) in Eco-Save mode. The latter feature also reduces energy consumption, with only 35 W consumed in standby mode.
Safety is not overlooked, with a 6 mm laminated safety glass front and 5 mm tempered glass side walls, both ensuring zero UV-C transmission, which is essential when using optional UV-C sterilisation lamps. The system is compatible with fast and effective UV-C sterilisation, enhancing hygiene between uses.
To suit all users, the height of the worktop can be adjusted using an adjustable base or an optional electric lift system (range 750 to 1050 mm). Integrated power sockets on the sides, available in several regional formats, make it easy to connect additional equipment.
