Description

Antaris II: A High-Performance FT-NIR Solution for Industrial Quality Control

The Thermo Scientific™ Antaris™ II FT-NIR spectrometer is engineered to meet the practical demands of industries requiring speed, accuracy, and reliability in the analysis of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods. Whether in development laboratories or directly on production floors, this analyzer enables measurements without sample preparation, while delivering consistent and reproducible data quality.

Utilizing Fourier transform technology, the Antaris II captures all spectral frequencies simultaneously, dramatically reducing analysis time. With only one moving part—its interferometer’s scanning mirror—maintenance is minimal and instrument longevity is enhanced. The built-in HeNe laser provides stable internal calibration, ensuring long-term spectral accuracy without the need for external recalibration.

The Antaris II is uniquely suited for all stages of the analytical lifecycle, from method development to routine manufacturing quality control. Its modular architecture supports multiple sampling techniques—including integrating sphere, automated transmission, fiber-optic probe, and tablet module—without requiring changes to the base unit. This design enables seamless method transfer across instruments and ensures consistent results across locations and users.

Compatible with various software platforms, such as RESULT™ for routine analysis, OMNIC™ for in-depth spectroscopic evaluation, and TQ Analyst™ for predictive modeling, the Antaris II integrates effortlessly into existing workflows while meeting regulatory requirements, including 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.

Built for industrial environments, its rugged aluminum housing and factory-aligned optical components allow reliable operation under challenging conditions—whether in a laboratory, warehouse, or directly on the production line. The Antaris II ensures continuous precision and exceptional operational flexibility.
