 The NIRMaster by Büchi is an FT-NIR spectrometer designed for companies seeking a reliable, robust, and easy-to-integrate solution for their production lines. Specifically developed to meet the requirements of the food and animal feed industries, this model is particularly suited for quality control applications near the production area, where analytical efficiency and ease of cleaning are essential.

This spectrometer is based on Fourier Transform Near-Infrared (FT-NIR) technology, enabling rapid and precise detection of components present in samples. Its operating principle relies on polarization interferometry, generating an infrared light beam that interacts with the molecules of the analyzed product. This interaction produces a unique spectrum, specific to each composition, allowing direct identification and quantification without the use of chemical reagents.

The standard NIRMaster features a food-grade PMMA housing with IP54 protection. This material allows operation in demanding production environments while facilitating cleaning procedures. The overall design complies with current standards for use near food products.

With its integrated computer, the NIRMaster is ready to operate immediately after installation. It comes equipped with NIRWare Basic software, enabling configuration, execution, and analysis of measurements. Preloaded quick-start calibrations are included to simplify initial use (additional licenses may be required for certain calibrations).

The instrument supports both diffuse reflection and transflectance measurements, making it compatible with various sample types: powders, granules, cereals, as well as liquids or suspensions. The Easy-Spin technology ensures sample rotation during measurement, improving reproducibility, especially for non-homogeneous samples.
