Fume Hood Captair Shelf 812 A - Fair Condition

Erlab's Captair Shelf 812 A storage hood is a compact, ductless unit designed to protect users from chemical vapour emissions. Thanks to its molecular filtration system tested in accordance with AFNOR NF X 15-211:2009, it captures harmful vapours directly at the source. Ideal for laboratories with limited space, this hood can store up to 10 1-litre bottles while ensuring a healthier working environment. Easy to install, quiet and energy-efficient, the Shelf 812 A can be adapted to various types of chemicals thanks to a choice of specific filters.

Description

Captair Shelf 812 A: Protect your laboratory simply and effectively

Erlab's Captair Shelf 812 A hood is much more than just a storage unit. It represents a major advance in modern laboratory safety. Compact and efficient, this ductless filter hood retains chemical vapours emitted by reagent bottles while purifying the ambient air. Its ingenious design allows for easy installation on a workbench, shelf or wall mounting, depending on the desired configuration.

One of the major advantages of the Shelf 812 A is its activated carbon molecular filtration technology, which can capture volatile organic compounds (VOCs), acid vapours, ammonia and even formaldehyde, depending on the filter selected. This technology is based on more than 40 years of Erlab expertise, guaranteeing optimal protection for users while respecting the environment. The air is drawn in through a silent fan, filtered and then returned to the laboratory without toxic emissions. The absence of ducts prevents the extraction of air-conditioned or heated air, thus generating significant energy savings.

Designed to be both discreet and efficient, the hood has a storage capacity of 10 x 1 litre bottles. Its compact size and powder-coated steel structure ensure excellent corrosion resistance, while its synthetic glass door allows easy checking of the contents without opening. The unit is equipped with a 2-litre integrated retention tray to limit the risk of leaks.

The Shelf 812 A is designed to prevent occupational hazards. By reducing the concentration of toxic vapours, it protects operators in the long term. It is also suitable for sensitive environments such as chemistry and biology laboratories, schools and hospitals. Thanks to its compatibility with several types of filters, it can be used with different reagents without the need to change equipment.

Its quiet operation, low power consumption (20 W) and lack of heavy maintenance requirements make it an economical and sustainable solution. The filters simply need to be replaced depending on the type of use and the saturation detected, a quick and easy process thanks to the device's intuitive design.

Whether you want to optimise space, improve working conditions or comply with chemical safety regulations, the Captair Shelf 812 A is a sensible and responsible choice.
