Agilent G1329A: a high-precision autosampler for HPLC systems

The Agilent G1329A autosampler is a key component of the Agilent 1200 series of HPLC liquid chromatography systems. One of the major advantages of the G1329A is its X-Z-Theta displacement system, which ensures the exact positioning of vials using a motorised gripper arm. Thanks to its analytical head device, the G1329A is capable of injecting volumes of up to 100 µL with a resolution of 7 nanolitres per motor step, offering excellent accuracy of less than 0.25% RSD for volumes from 5 to 100 µL. It is also designed to accept different sizes of vial racks, allowing maximum flexibility according to user requirements, with a total of up to 100 2 mL vials in a single tray.

To limit cross-contamination, the G1329A incorporates an automatic needle cleaning function after each injection. In addition, the design of the hydraulic circuit ensures effective rinsing of all parts in contact with the sample during the chromatography cycle.
