Agilent G1364E: Preparative fraction collector for high-capacity purification
The Agilent G1364E preparative fraction collector is designed to meet the requirements of laboratories specialising in the purification of compounds on a semi-preparative scale. It integrates seamlessly with the InfinityLab LC Series 1260 Infinity II systems, offering a compact and powerful solution for fraction collection with flow rates ranging from 5 to 100 mL/min. With its low dead volume, it minimises peak dispersion and reduces the risk of cross-contamination, ensuring maximum purity of the collected fractions.
This module allows up to 216 fractions to be collected per unit, with the option of connecting up to three collectors to achieve a capacity of 648 fractions in the same footprint. A fourth unit can be added for sample recovery, further increasing the flexibility of the system. The G1364E is compatible with a wide range of tubes, vials and plates, allowing easy adaptation to the specific requirements of each analytical method.

The G1364E offers several trigger modes for fraction collection, including time, peak or mass, depending on the signals detected by the compatible modules. This flexibility allows for targeted and accurate collection, adapted to the most complex chromatographic profiles. Automatic calibration of the trigger delay facilitates configuration and improves the reproducibility of results. The module is also equipped with a leak sensor and a secure waste management system, ensuring use in accordance with laboratory safety standards. Its intuitive user interface allows for quick configuration and real-time monitoring of collection parameters.

Critical components such as the needle, capillary, internal tray and bypass valve can be easily replaced, reducing downtime and ensuring consistent performance. The module is compatible with Agilent control software, enabling centralised parameter management and complete traceability of operations.
Its compact, robust housing, combined with materials resistant to common solvents, ensures a long service life even in demanding environments. The integrated preventive maintenance feedback system (EMF) tracks component wear and anticipates necessary interventions, ensuring optimal reliability.
