The GENIE: the analogue microplate shaker for fast and homogeneous mixing
Designed by Scientific Industries, the GENIE is an analogue shaker specifically designed for research, biology and clinical analysis laboratories that require fast and efficient mixing of microplates. Thanks to proven vortex technology and a 1 mm orbit, it ensures homogeneous movement in each well, guaranteeing reproducible results, even with the most viscous samples or high-density plates such as 384 wells.
The GENIE allows manual adjustment of the rotation speed between 750 and 3200 rpm (2700 rpm for 50 Hz models), offering great flexibility depending on the type of sample and mixing protocols. With a timer ranging from 1 to 60 minutes or continuous mode, it adapts to the specific needs of each experiment.
With its compact dimensions (165 x 165 x 165 mm) and weight of 2.75 kg, the GENIE fits perfectly into any laboratory environment, even in confined spaces. It is designed to operate without problems in cold rooms and incubators, making it ideal for experiments requiring specific temperatures.
