Real-time PCR system optimised for demanding laboratories
The Gentier 96R is a real-time PCR instrument designed for laboratories seeking precision, speed and versatility. It can process up to 96 samples in a single analysis, with remarkable thermal performance and extensive compatibility with standard fluorescent dyes. This system is certified and recognised in many countries, guaranteeing quality in line with international standards.
Its architecture is based on a photodiode detection system with high-brightness LED excitation, ensuring a long service life without maintenance. The four fluorescence channels enable multiplexed detection with dyes such as FAM, HEX, ROX and Cy5, covering a wide range of applications.
Fast and accurate thermal control for reliable results
The Gentier 96R stands out for its powerful thermal control, with a heating rate of ≥6.1 °C/s and a cooling rate of ≥5.0 °C/s. This speed significantly reduces analysis time while maintaining a temperature accuracy of ≤0.1 °C and uniformity of ±0.1 °C across the entire block. These features ensure reproducible and reliable results, which are essential for clinical and research analyses.
The system supports protocols such as thermal gradient PCR, Long PCR and Touch Down PCR, offering maximum flexibility for users.
Intuitive interface and smart connectivity for simplified use
The Gentier 96R is equipped with a 10.4-inch colour touch screen for stand-alone use without a computer. It can also be controlled via PC software connected to a local network or directly. The internal storage capacity allows more than 1,000 experiment files to be saved, with export via USB stick.
The integrated software offers comprehensive analyses: qualitative analysis, absolute and relative quantification, endpoint fluorescence, melting curves and genotyping. In the event of a power failure, the system automatically resumes the current experiment as soon as power is restored, ensuring continuity without intervention.
This system is used in more than 50 countries by hospitals, disease control centres, research institutes, customs authorities and agri-food companies, demonstrating its reliability and versatility.
