Thanks to automated functions, impedance regulation and customisable settings, the GN 300 guarantees reproducible results, even in the most complex operating conditions.

Description

GN 300 Electrosurgical Unit – Surgical precision at its best

The GN 300 electrosurgical unit from Aesculap embodies the perfect balance between technological innovation and clinical expertise. Designed to keep pace with constantly evolving surgical practices, it incorporates the latest advances in safety, power regulation and ease of use. Its intelligent core, a microprocessor controlled by dedicated software, performs a complete self-diagnostic check every time the device is switched on, while continuously monitoring critical parameters throughout the procedure.

Designed for demanding operating environments, the GN 300 offers broad compatibility with monopolar and bipolar instruments, making it ideal for a variety of disciplines such as general surgery, urology (including transurethral resection), gynaecology, orthopaedics, ENT, neurosurgery and even open heart procedures. The unit's ergonomics have been designed to offer maximum comfort to the practitioner, with a simple and intuitive interface and precise control via a Vario foot pedal.

One of the major advantages of the GN 300 is its ability to adapt to tissue characteristics thanks to automatic impedance regulation. The cutting and coagulation modes, whether monopolar or bipolar, can be customised according to the type of procedure. The monopolar CUT mode, for example, allows for clean and consistent incisions even in the presence of tissue variations, while the COAG functions offer effective haemostasis without necrosis or adhesion. The Spray COAG function, on the other hand, allows for contactless surface coagulation, ideal for preserving tissue integrity.

On the bipolar side, the GN 300 features a MICRO/MACRO mode that automatically adjusts to tissue impedance, ensuring fine and precise coagulation as well as wider applications. Combined with compatible instruments such as BiTOM forceps, this technology ensures that the tips do not stick, thus extending the life of the accessories. The PDM (Patient Dynamic Monitoring ) function checks in real time that the neutral electrode is correctly applied to the patient, minimising the risk of accidents.

The GN 300 has three programmable memories, allowing the surgeon to save their preferred settings according to clinical indications. This feature reduces preparation time while ensuring reproducible results. Thanks to this combination of safety, versatility and performance, the GN 300 electrosurgical unit is an indispensable ally for all surgical teams seeking precision and reliability.
