GT 40: Cryogenic storage optimised for insemination
The GT 40 is specifically designed to meet the requirements of veterinary and animal insemination centres. With its large storage capacity and 120 mm wide neck, it allows for easy handling of canisters and optimal accessibility to samples. This model can hold up to 16,400 0.25 ml straws or 7,300 0.5 ml straws, as well as 1,200 2 ml cryotubes or 600 5 ml cryotubes, distributed across two levels of canisters. This configuration ensures high storage density while facilitating internal organisation.
Thermal performance and enhanced safety
The GT 40 offers excellent thermal performance with a static storage life of up to 140 days and a nominal daily evaporation rate of 0.29 litres. These features ensure reliable sample storage over long periods, even without frequent refilling. The container is equipped with a digital level indicator and temperature indicator with alarm, ensuring continuous monitoring of internal conditions. In addition, the lid locking system (not included) secures access to samples, enhancing traceability and security.
Robust design and specialised accessories
Made of aluminium with high-quality polyurethane paint , the GT 40 combines lightness and mechanical strength. The neck of the container incorporates a groove system for positioning canisters, facilitating their identification and handling. The GT 40 is also compatible with a full range of accessories, such as rolling bases, specific goblets, cryo-tube rods and plastic level rods.
