GT4R high-performance refrigerated centrifuge for demanding laboratories
The GT4R is a refrigerated centrifuge designed for complex separation applications in laboratory environments. It can process mixtures of samples of varying densities, such as chemicals or environmental samples, while ensuring maximum safety. Thanks to its brushless induction motor, it guarantees quiet, vibration-free operation even at high speeds and exceptional longevity.
Precise control and enhanced safety
The GT4R's ergonomic control panel allows you to set and change parameters during operation: speed, relative centrifugal force (RCF), duration, temperature, and acceleration/braking profiles. It offers 9 acceleration curves and 10 braking curves, allowing fine adjustment to the specific needs of the samples. The centrifuge is equipped with an automatic rotor detection system, preventing any selection of inappropriate speeds, as well as an electronic imbalance recognition system.
Safety is at the heart of its design: the lid can only be opened when the device is powered on and the rotor is completely stopped. An automatic lid locking system and a mechanical emergency opening are also integrated for power failure situations.
Efficient refrigeration and extended compatibility
The GT4R uses R-134a refrigerant in a hermetically sealed system, with a capacity of 0.43 kg and a pressure of 21 bar. It allows temperature control between -10 °C and +40 °C, ensuring optimal preservation of heat-sensitive samples. Its preheating and precooling system allows the temperature to be adjusted before centrifugation starts.
Compatible with a wide range of rotors and accessories, the GT4R accepts models such as TX-1000, TX-750, BIOShield™ 1000 A, Fiberlite™, HIGHConic™, Microliter™, MicroClick™, and many others. The Auto-Lock™ system facilitates secure rotor installation without manual screwing, ensuring quick and reliable set-up.
