HettCube 200: Precision Incubation for Your Laboratory
The Hettich HettCube 200 incubator stands out for its reliability, user-friendly operation, and ergonomic design. Ideal for microbiology laboratories, it provides stable incubation with precise temperature control—without relying on an internal fan. This ensures natural air circulation, avoiding turbulence that could compromise sensitive samples. Its fanless design also leads to low energy consumption and quiet operation, making it well-suited for sensitive environments.
Engineered to deliver the perfect balance of energy efficiency, space optimization, and user comfort, the HettCube 200 offers a compact footprint of just 0.6 m² while providing a validated usable volume of 82 liters. The solid door features a magnetic closure system that opens effortlessly with one hand and does not include an intermediate glass panel. The door’s opening direction can be reversed to accommodate lab space constraints.
A 4.3-inch touchscreen interface allows quick access to all programming functions. Users can monitor real-time data including temperature parameters, events, alarms, programmed cycles, and usage history. The device also allows customization of various settings such as the door-open alarm and thermal tolerances. Up to 99 programmable functions are available, including delayed start and temperature- or time-based cycles.
The HettCube 200 includes two stainless steel shelves: one standard shelf and one HTS telescopic rail shelf. The interior chamber, made entirely of high-grade stainless steel (1.4301), is built for durability and easy cleaning. The incubator is compatible with a HettCert conformity certificate, based on temperature measurements aligned with DIN 12880:2007-05, ensuring verified thermal stability.
For specific applications, a wide range of optional accessories is available, including drawers of various heights, racks for Petri dishes or Löwenstein tubes, switchboards, glass doors, independent temperature probes, and stacking kits for vertical space-saving.
The refrigerated version (HettCube 200 R) offers temperatures as low as 0 °C, controlled by a Class 3.2 temperature controller. This version also features a "vacation" mode, ideal for extended periods of inactivity, as well as the ability to control external devices.
The HettCube 200 is a reliable and practical choice for professionals seeking a compact, quiet, and easily integrable microbiological incubator for their laboratory workflows.
