MÖLLER Hi-R 900: A high-precision surgical solution for ophthalmology
The MÖLLER Hi-R 900 surgical microscope is primarily intended for ophthalmic procedures, but is also suitable for other disciplines such as plastic surgery. The Hi-R 900 embodies Möller-Wedel's commitment to innovation and precision, with components developed on the basis of ongoing dialogue with surgeons around the world.
Its major advantage lies in its high-quality apochromatic optics, corrected for residual aberrations, which guarantee a clear and accurate image. The 25 mm stereo base ensures optimal depth perception, which is essential in micro-interventions. The motorised zoom system (1:6) allows smooth magnification from 3.9x to 23.2x (Hi-R 900 model), promoting personalised visual comfort depending on the stage of the procedure.
In terms of lighting, the Hi-R 900 offers a halogen or LED light source with various filters that can be integrated via a sterile control: daylight, soft light, blue filter for fluorescein, and orange filter (515 nm) for increased protection of the patient and surgeon. These settings provide the right brightness for every surgical need, ensuring clarity and safety.
The Hi-R 900A model, equipped with a full stereoscopic assistant microscope, allows assistants to independently adjust the focus and magnification using 12.5x eyepieces and a 5-level magnification changer. The tilt and rotation of the optical unit ensure maximum ergonomics for all users.
Specialised accessories such as the EIBOS 2, a non-contact wide-angle ophthalmoscope, further increase the versatility of the Hi-R 900. Integrated with a focusing mechanism and an inverter, the EIBOS 2 offers improved visualisation of the vitreous during vitrectomies.
The MIOS 4 (Microscope Imaging and Operation System) platform facilitates the recording and monitoring of procedures, with storage on DVD, hard drive or USB, and integration into the hospital network via DICOM. The high-resolution M.DIS screen, located close to the eyepieces, allows quick access to data and images, while maintaining the surgeon's concentration.
The Hi-R 900 is mounted on FS 2-11 / FS 2-15 (mechanical brakes) or FS 2-21 / FS 2-25 (electromagnetic brakes) floor stands , designed for high stability and intuitive control via a graphic display. These stands feature protection against corrosive liquids, cable covers and double-braked castors.
The MÖLLER Hi-R 900 is an innovative, modular, ergonomic and reliable surgical solution. It embodies the tradition and innovation of Möller-Wedel and meets the most stringent requirements for surgical microscopy.
