Ergonomics and features for daily care
The S 280 is equipped with an electric adjustment system that allows the height of the bed surface to be adjusted between 40 cm and 80 cm. It has adjustable sections for the back, upper and lower legs, offering maximum flexibility for care and comfort positions. The backrest can be raised to 70°, while the upper leg section can be adjusted to an angle of 45°. The lower leg section is manually adjustable.
The bed has four lifting columns for enhanced stability and a double brake pedal on each side. The continuous side rails provide maximum protection against falls, with a secure locking system. The bed can be equipped with the Auto-Contour function (optional), allowing simultaneous adjustment of the backrest and legs for a comfortable sitting position.
Certified safety and compliance with medical standards
The S 280 complies with the requirements of European Directive 93/42/EEC on medical devices. It is CE certified and tested according to DIN EN 60601-1 and EN 1970 standards. The bed is equipped with an electrical safety system with automatic shut-off in case of overload, and can be powered by an optional battery pack to ensure operation in the event of a power failure.
