Reliable and durable protection against chemical fumes: the FH series from TopAir
The TopAir FH series is specially designed to meet the requirements of laboratory environments handling potentially hazardous chemicals. Made of high-quality polypropylene, these hoods are highly resistant to corrosion caused by acids, bases, aggressive gases and organic solvents. Their design ensures efficient extraction of harmful fumes, contributing to a safe and pleasant working environment for operators.
Each model in the FH series is equipped with 5 mm safety glass front glazing, mounted on a counterweight system for smooth operation. The main body is made of 8 mm thick welded polypropylene, ensuring strength and durability. The integrated LED lighting provides 800 lux of brightness, separated from the work area to reduce the risk of contamination or exposure. Air extraction systems at the top and rear of the hood ensure optimal air circulation.
The standard control system is based on a 7-inch colour touch screen for managing lighting and electrical sockets. Three system options are available: a system with air speed display (AFA), a variable air flow (VAV) system, and an "Active" system incorporating proximity detection, automatic window movement and energy-saving mode. These options allow the hood to be adapted to the specific needs of each laboratory.
The FH series complies with EN-14175, CE and ASHRAE 110-1995 standards, ensuring a high level of safety and performance. It is ideal for applications involving aggressive chemicals requiring enhanced protection.
Several accessories can be added, such as gas or water taps, sinks, centrifugal fans and additional sockets, allowing each unit to be customised to the user's requirements.
