Memmert HPP400: constant climate chamber for stability testing and environmental simulation
The Memmert HPP400 is a constant climate chamber specially developed to meet the strict requirements of laboratories and research environments. It is particularly suitable for stability testing in accordance with ICH guidelines, material testing and environmental simulations. With an internal capacity of 384 litres and a robust stainless steel design, it ensures stable and reproducible temperature and humidity conditions, guaranteeing reliable results over long periods of time. Its energy-efficient Peltier technology control system enables precise temperature and humidity management while reducing power consumption and operating costs.
Perfectly controlled temperature and humidity range
The HPP400 offers a temperature range of 0 °C to +70 °C without light and +15 °C to +40 °C with light, with an adjustment accuracy of 0.1 °C. Relative humidity is adjustable from 10 to 90% RH with an accuracy of 0.5%, thanks to a hot steam generation system and a cold trap dehumidification device using Peltier technology. This combination ensures stable conditions, even over long periods, without condensation, within the specified operating range. Two Pt100 probes in a 4-wire configuration ensure accurate temperature monitoring, cross-monitoring each other to maintain optimum performance.
Intuitive control interface and safety features
The HPP400 climate chamber features a TwinDISPLAY control system with two high-definition TFT colour screens, providing a clear, multilingual interface. Parameters such as temperature, humidity, programme duration and even time zones can be adjusted with precision. The HeatBALANCE function optimises heat distribution between the upper and lower heating circuits, while the SetpointWAIT function ensures that timing only starts once the desired conditions have been reached. In terms of safety, the HPP400 is equipped with an AutoSAFETY system that protects against temperature overshoots or drops, with automatic visual and audible alarms and shutdown of heating or cooling functions if necessary.
Robust construction and modern connectivity
Designed with a stainless steel interior and textured exterior, the HPP400 is mounted on lockable castors for easy movement. It can accommodate up to 14 stainless steel racks, for a maximum total load of 200 kg. In terms of connectivity, it is equipped with Ethernet and USB interfaces, allowing programmes to be controlled and managed via the AtmoCONTROL software. Data is secured by an internal memory that retains programmes even in the event of a power failure.
