HyLED 760 from Mindray – Excellence in surgical lighting
Designed to meet the needs of modern operating theatres, the HyLED 760 surgical light combines technological performance, visual comfort and compatibility with sterile laminar flow environments. Building on the strengths of the HyLED 9 series, it is a reliable and accessible solution for healthcare facilities seeking a balance between clinical performance and cost control.
The HyLED 760 features a central light output of 160,000 lux, an adjustable light field diameter of 195 to 300 mm, and a depth of illumination of up to 1,200 mm, allowing deep areas to be reached without compromising vision quality. Its constant colour temperature of 4,350 K , close to that of natural daylight, allows for accurate differentiation of human tissue, which is essential for surgical precision. Unlike other variable temperature systems, the HyLed 760 uses a pre-mixed white light system that guarantees colour stability, even when the light field is partially obstructed by medical staff.
One of the major advantages of this lamp is its electronic light beam diameter adjustment system, which has no mechanical parts. This not only improves the durability of the device, but also protects surgeons' vision by reducing light aggression to the eyes, even at high intensities.
The ultra-slim and compact design, weighing less than 12 kg, facilitates seamless integration into laminar flow operating theatres. Its double hollow ring minimises disruption to filtered airflow, reducing the risk of contamination and promoting sterile operating conditions. In addition, the ergonomic suspension arm allows for easy manoeuvrability and precise positioning.
The HyLED 760 is available with several camera configurations: HD cameras on a support arm or integrated cameras that can be rotated 330°, facilitating recording, remote transmission and training. It also offers a standard ambient lighting mode, useful for endoscopic procedures requiring subdued light.
With an LED lifetime of over 40,000 hours, low power consumption (85 W) and compatibility with hospital digital systems via the Mindray 3D configurator, the HyLED 760 is sustainable, ergonomic and adapted to the most demanding surgical standards.
