IKA's IC basic pro 20 c: a high-precision temperature control system
The IC basic pro 20 c from IKA is a thermostatic circulation device specially designed to meet the thermal control needs of modern laboratories. This device combines state-of-the-art control technology with a robust design to offer a reliable and durable solution. The system features a high-performance immersion thermostat, which uses sophisticated PID control to ensure exceptional temperature stability of ±0.02 K according to DIN 12876. This accuracy is made possible by the use of high-quality PT 100 and PT1000 sensors, enabling real-time measurement and control. The device is also equipped with a clear LED display and microprocessor control, which simplifies parameter settings and monitoring.
To maximise safety, the IC basic pro 20 c incorporates numerous protective functions, such as a safety circuit adjustable up to 260 °C, a visual and audible alarm in the event of temperature exceedance, and protection against low or high liquid levels. These features make it a particularly reliable tool for critical tasks where safety and precision are essential.
The system is "ready to use" with the IC basic immersion thermostat, a large IB 20 pro stainless steel bath, a PT 100.30 temperature probe and a CC1 cooling coil. This configuration allows for quick installation and immediate use without the need for additional accessories. Thanks to an adjustable pressure and suction pump, it is also possible to maintain optimal circulation in the bath, with a maximum flow rate of 31 l/min.
The IC basic pro 20 c is designed to integrate easily into modern infrastructures thanks to RS232 and micro-USB interfaces, allowing connection to external systems for data control and recording. Its robust and compact design (dimensions: 285 x 313 x 291 mm) and compliance with IP 21 safety standards ensure reliable operation even in demanding environments.
