Silent ICE mini: Precise and Simplified Lens Locking
The Silent ICE mini is specially designed to meet the medical and technical requirements of corrective lens locking. It is an intelligent locking device that supports opticians and laboratories in all stages of assembly. Thanks to its three-pin support system and stable locking arm, it guarantees positioning accuracy of 0.5 mm for both the axis and height. The process is simple: place the marked lens on the table, enter the data via the touchscreen, then proceed with locking. This ease of use reduces errors and ensures consistent results.
Intuitive Interface and Real-Time Display
The ICE mini features an 8.4-inch colour touchscreen LCD display, providing a clear and ergonomic display. The actual contours of the traced glass and the finished glass appear simultaneously on the screen in full size, allowing immediate verification of the match with the outer contour. This real-time visualisation is particularly useful for optimising compatibility between the lens and the frame, ensuring reliable fitting in accordance with prescriptions. Data for different types of lenses and frames (metal, nylor, plastic, pierced, etc.) can be entered and stored, ensuring great flexibility of use.
Connectivity and Laboratory Integration
The ICE mini can be easily integrated into laboratory configurations ranging from individual workstations to mass production facilities. In its basic configuration, it can be connected directly to a lens edger. For more complex environments, multiple devices can be connected via a local area network (LAN), such as NIDEK LT-900 frame tracers or SE-9090 Express edgers. The internal memory can store up to 30 jobs and 200 models, which can be expanded using an optional USB key. The ICE mini is suitable for both small businesses and large laboratories, while ensuring patient data security and traceability.
